Oh, hi there!

From the moment Amy entered the world, it was clear she was destined for the stage. At birth she was nicknamed the “opera singer” thanks to her impressively powerful lungs, seemingly choosing the performer’s path before she could even open her eyes. She grew up in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, getting involved in all things performing arts from an incredibly young age. From harmonizing in the car, to dance recitals, to singing with the praise team at her church, performing has always been woven into the fabric of who Amy is. Some of her earliest “shows” were created with her younger brother and cousins, crafting songs and dances to entertain their parents. After her first chorus solo in “Light the Candles,” she realized her love for song wasn’t just a pastime, but a calling. Her chorus teacher, who later became her voice teacher, referred to her as a “powerhouse sensation” which is a standard she strives to live up to both on and off the stage.

She has vivid memories of watching The Sound of Music on repeat on the old VCR at her family house in Cape Cod. Years later, Pitch Perfect became the first PG-13 movie she ever watched. She and her cousins would spend entire beach days recreating the riff-off scenes at full volume, much to the amusement or possible annoyance of anyone within earshot.  Though she once dreamed of becoming a marine biologist due to her strong connection with all things ocean, everything changed the moment she stepped into her first community theatre performance of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. From then on, theatre had her heart.

She is currently working toward her B.A. in Theatre at DeSales University. Living “in the middle of a cornfield” has given her plenty of slow moments to refocus and hone in on her craft. When she’s not at school, you can almost always find her on the beach, searching for sea glass and crossing her fingers that a pod of dolphins might pass by.
